How to use the glass knife:

The glass knife can't move too hard when moving backwards as long as you hear a slight continuous click on the glass surface. At this time, the glass has a very fine grain, and then the glass can be opened by hand.

For narrow glass strips, when it is not open by hand, it can be knocked by a glass knife to make the glass shake out cracks and open again. If there are any remaining strips that are not opened, a soft cloth can be used to remove the remaining glass edges. .

If you cut a glass longer, it is best to cut it all in one go; do not re-draw on the stenciled lines. If you must re-draw it, you can draw it on the back, or you may miss the position above 1.5mm.

When cutting 8-12mm wide glass, a 5mm X30mm wooden ruler is required;

Sometimes the ruler can be used according to the operator's habits. During the specific cutting, use a wooden folding rule or a steel tape measure to measure the size of the glass frame, and then set the cutting size on the ruler; consider leaving 3mm neutral and 2mm blade.

The method of cutting the large glass of 5-6mm thick is to apply kerosene in advance to the cutting edge, in addition to applying different rulers. After the glass cutting, kerosene will seep into the knife edge, which will easily pull it off.

When cutting large pieces of glass, due to the large area of glass, people cannot stand on the ground, so the operator needs to remove the shoes to stand on the glass surface to cut, so a layer of flannel must be put under the glass (that is, on the table). Press the glass evenly.

After cutting, remove the glass and hold one end of the glass with both hands. At the other end, use the weight of the glass or evenly press a certain weight. Pass the edge of the desk and pull your hands down evenly. This must not be careless. Causes the breakage of the entire glass.

Cut off the special glass method:

For the cut round glass, a diamond ruler knife is used to cut the glass, and a glass having a diameter of 1 to 1000 mm and a thickness of 3 to 6 mm can be cut. To cut other shaped glass, you must make a sample or set a plate in advance, and then cut it to make it accurate.

When cutting glass slats for terrazzo floors, in order to ensure the consistency of the width of the glass strips, the bottom left edge of a 5mmX 30mm wooden ruler can be temporarily nailed to the workbench. (2) Wire glass

The cutting method of cut wire glass is basically the same as cutting ordinary flat glass of 5-6 mm thick. However, cutting of wire glass is difficult to grasp because the glass surface is uneven when cut, so it is necessary to look for stable gripping of the knife edge. The cutter head is harder than the normal flat glass and the speed of the cutter is correspondingly faster, so that there will be no problem of bending or straightness.

When the glass is pulled off after cutting, hold the glass with both hands and simultaneously pull it down evenly to break the glass along the cut line. If the wire is not broken, you can insert a slender wood strip in the glass slit, and then pull it down firmly. The wire can be pulled off. (4) Frosted glass

When cutting frosted glass, the matte side should face downwards, and the force should be evenly applied when cutting downwards after cutting.
